Free Dance Week: September 11-14th
Join us for our free dance week starting September 11th through the 14th! This event replaces our usual “bring a friend” week. All classes are open to the community, our registered students, and their friends. Enjoy unlimited classes, and try out some new styles! New students can come try out as many classes as they would like, and current PCDC students can try any new style in their level! As a bonus to new students, we are also offering free registration for this week! Got questions? Talk to the front desk for details. Plus take a look at our schedule to see which classes you want to take.
SPLITember is back!
Splitember is here! From September 5th-21st, please we are encouraging our students to work hard on their flexibility. Show your teachers your splits in class. Students that achieve their splits by September 21st get invited to our Splitember ice cream party on September 29th!
Did you know we have a referral program? As a thank you for telling others about PCDC the referring family will receive $50 off one month’s tuition. Plus the new student and PCDC student will get to play plinko for fun prizes! Dance is always better with friends. There is no limit to how many new students a family can refer.
Congratulations to our first ever Shining Stars!
Shining Stars are STAR students picked by their teachers for going above and beyond in the classroom.
Emmy P. (Age 7)
Emmy has been a PCDC dancer for 2 years. This year, she is studying both ballet and jazz during the week with her favorite style being ballet. She has a great memory and as a result has memorized some of her ballet barre combinations already! When Emmy is not dancing, she loves to draw. She would like to encourage fellow dancers to pay attention at ballet barre, and to focus on your plies because they will “make you jump higher”.
Kezi K. (Age 13)
Kezi has been a PCDC dancer for 3 years now. Her favorite style to study would be ballet because she feels it is the best way to express herself; “I enjoy expressing myself through smooth, connected and graceful movements.” Outside of dance, she enjoys singing and has had the opportunity to sing in two honor choirs last year. She finds it enjoyable because it is a way to ‘share a story’ with her audience. She would like to encourage her fellow students to never give up; “Try your best on everything and don’t give up just because you can’t get the skill right away.”
Anna A. (Age 16)
Anna has been at PCDC for 3 years now and loves it! Anna studies a bunch of different dance styles during the week but her favorite class is Hip Hop; “I love getting to be sassy and (dancing) with an attitude. It makes me feel tough and powerful.” She would love to encourage other dancers to always smile and have confidence in their abilities; “…Own everything you do from technique in class to performing on stage…Don’t let anyone dim your sparkle!”
